This year we have two new teachers in the St. Paul’s family. We gave them some interview questions so you can know more about them.

Meet Chrissy Thompson:

What are you teaching this year?
“AP Chemistry, Honors Chemistry and Chemistry”

Do you have any family that goes to St. Paul’s or previously went to St. Paul’s?
“I do not have any family that goes to SPS or went to SPS.”

Are you helping with or doing any extracurricular activities outside of school?
“I am the director and also coach at Lower Alabama Volleyball.”

Did you teach any other school before St. Paul’s, and if so, what did you teach, where did you teach, and for how long?
“I was at Bayside Academy for 20 years. I have taught PK4, fourth grade science enrichment, fifth grade science, sixth grade math, seventh and eighth grade science, biology, physics and marine biology.” 

What movie/show are you most excited about that is coming out soon?
“The new season of Grey’s Anatomy! I am a huge Grey’s fan!”

Meet Ashley Johnson:

What are you teaching this year?
“I am teaching ninth grade Algebra 1.”

Do you have any family that goes to St. Paul’s or previously went to St. Paul’s?
“My niece goes to St. Paul’s. She is in first grade.”

Are you helping/doing any extracurricular activity outside of school?
“I coach my son’s soccer team outside of school.”

Did you teach at any other school before St. Paul’s, and if so, what did you teach and where did you teach? For how long?
“I first taught at a school in Austin, Texas, called Summit Christian Academy. I then taught at St. Paul’s for six years. I am now back at St. Paul’s after taking a break to stay home with my babies.”

What movie/show are you most excited about that is coming out soon?
“I am looking forward to taking my kids to the new Bad Guys movie.”
