Most common resolution: Read the Bible more often/read all of it
Many people want to complete this daunting task. They are not doing it just to show they can complete this daunting task, but to gain a deeper connection with God and the Holy Spirit.
Second most common resolution: To get healthier
This resolution is very common in general, but it’s always a good one to have. Taking better care of yourself is always a great idea; it shows you want to take care of yourself so you can live a long and happy life. It is important to remember not to beat yourself up if you did not drastically make improvements. Any improvements into getting healthy are good improvements.
Most inspiring resolution: To perform in more professional shows, get an agent and manager to help me out, and improve my acting, singing, and dancing by making it even better than before!
Wanting to become better and reach your dream is very inspiring. Trying your best to get all of this done in one year is a hard goal, but I believe that you can do it. Just remember to not beat yourself up if you do not finish your goal – you will always have next year.
Repeating resolution: To be a blessing to someone each day
Even though you are repeating a resolution, this one is great to keep repeating. Staying kind or being a blessing to someone is seen less and less recently, and you wanting to do that is amazing, not just for God, but for the people around you.
Family-oriented Resolutions: Spend more time with my family, and go on some big vacations
It is always a good idea to spend time with your family; now more than ever. We are going to be going to college or straight into the workforce soon, leaving our family nest. You will still see them of course, but you will not live under the same roof, so it’s a great idea to spend more time with your family before you leave the nest to go live in the real world.
Funniest resolution: “I think I should frolic more in 2026, and eat some crackers, or like….be friends with more ducks, that sounds nice :)”
I don’t have an inspiring monologue for this one; I just think it’s funny. I do agree though, we should be friends with more ducks :).
